[Printers] an idea relating to column 15?

I won't pretend to have spent any great time on this, so I'm probably
talking out of my ass on this.

I wonder if the mysterious column 15 might have anything to do with
the printer's firmware revision...  This seems like the sort of thing
the powers-that-be may want to keep track of (better or worse
counterfitting capability with firmware revision X?).
