I have analyzed the output of my minolta magicolor 2300 and have concluded that the data resides in a repeating 1.2x0.7cm matrix that shifts over a bit for every pattern below it. The data does not seem very intelligible, but it is clear that the displacement of dots from their corresponding rows is intentional and that may be how the data is encoded (shift amount translates into numerical data). This seems likely because one column is always particularly straight (reference line?), and one row is also a straight 4 dots with two dots that are raised, followed by another four dots and so on. Does anyone else have magicolor data?
